AR-15 Build

Finally, after a serious amount of frustration, my lower receiver is complete and functions perfectly! I will still have to get it engraved and go through the NFA process before I order the SBR complete upper but after several learning mistakes this thing came out perfectly, thanks to all of you who gave me advice it sure helped out especially the vice grip roll pin install. Oddly enough the easiest thing on this build for me was the front take down pin install, I used my Kroger card (key chain) to hold it in place and it was simple,

anyway parts:

Stripped DPMS lower receiver

RRA lower receiver kit with 2-Stage National Match Trigger (same as my RRA Pro Government DEA rifle)

Magpul CTR collapsible butt stock

Magpul MOE pistol grip

Magpul Trigger guard

Well,

I have it put together, the Fine folks at Noveske were kind enough to include a Ball cap and a Sticker with the purchase of this Upper half, I am not finished, I will be adding a Surefire Light system and an Eotech Holo Sight before all is said and done but here are some pictures of a functioning rifle that was a blast to put togeteher :)

Ain't that perty! I'd go with an Aimpoint over an Eeotech based on when I've read about reliability and battery life, but to each his own :tinfoil:.

I had an Eotech 552 on my RRA, I fell in love with that sight, i have not used an Aimpoint but I am familiar with the Eotech and am saving up for this one, it should serve me well

EOTech Sight (553.A65TAN / 553A65TAN)
