Ask him if his factory 10 rounders rattle when loaded. If so, he can bug KelTec and they will send him a 12 round, no rattle mag at no charge. A friend of mine got two that way. Just don't let them say no.

Email harassment work, or will he have to call?

I'm the friend Westwind Mike is referring to. I used both email and phone calls, but mostly emails. The 12 round mag is the same exact dimension as the 10 round (10 round rattles, 12 round does not). My plea was that a rattle from my mag could give my position away, were I trying to conceal my position, while confronting a night time intruder in my home. The danger of this situation is obvious. They were nice people to deal with.

Why is it called common sense, when it is so uncommon? TN Sen. Fred Thompson

Ahhhh, the KT P11 rattling mag routine.

Try this:

Load mag all the way up [or after chambering to top off].

Get really small screwdriver. Insert blade of small screwdriver into

one of the inspection [round count] holes and gently, pry downward

on a cartridge case. Just a little. Stops the rattle every time.
