Well, looks like I'm gonna have to invest in some bulletproof panties. After swearing off the dreaded Glock for 20+ years (had a gen 1 G17) I've bought me a G22. I swore that I'd never own another, and that the 1911 would be my only true love, but I gave in to the temptation of Tenifer'd steel and plastic. Hope John Moses Browning doesn't hate me.

Congrats on the Glock, I don't think Mr. Browning would be too upset, just as long as you don't give up 1911's all together...

Did you get the RTF version?

Mr. Browning would likely admire the engineering:D

Have fun with your new purchase.

I wonder if they sell that underwear after use?

Got out my old 1911 the other day and put a few rounds through it. I'd been shooting mostly Glocks and other plastic firepower. I couldn't believe how much better it shot and felt to shoot.

Diamond Gusset's Defender jeans have Kevlar in the rear pocket area, might help, but I don't think it's woven tight enough to be bullet repellent.

I hear those were to keep farts in, rather than bullets out:D

Thanks. Oh no, won't be giving up the 1911's, just adding tupperware to the steel collection. It's a refurb LEO trade in with 2006/2007 trijicons.

Just wear it in a S.O.B. holster then you won't shoot yourself in the @$$, you will shoot the guy next to you in the foot.
