Just remember, you have to keep records of everything you purchase with it. Oh yeah, the ATF can come in whenever they want since you have it to look at your books.

You have to record the C&R guns you buy on the license in a bound book. If a vendor gives you a discount price for having it, unless you're buying a C&R firearm, no records are required.

Partially correct and wrong. Only firearms purchased using the FFL have to be logged. And no, the ATF cannot come in whenever they want. They have to set up an appointment and in many cases from what I have heard, you take your books to them at their office, but that's not always the case. This isn't a 01FFL, the ATF just can't waltz in whenever they want.

Do you folks know how much a C&R FFL costs? Just curious. Is it difficult to get one?

$30 every 3 years and if you qualify for purchasing a firearm, you qualify for a 03FFL.
