Morristown/Hamblen parks status

The Morristown city council was supposed to address the guns in parks issue this past week. I was out of town and could not attend and have been trying to find out the results of the meeting. There seems to be no mention in the online edition of the Morristown paper and Google couldn't help. Anybody know what happened?

AFAIK this was not addressed at the meeting on 1 September. Council member Doc Rooney told me during the Parks and Recreation meeting that he does not believe the council is going to initiate any discussion on park carry. Of course that doesn't mean someone in the future won't submit it as an agenda item.
