Cell phone questions

I have AT&T service (out of contract), Razr phone. I am looking for a phone that can take extreme temps, moisture to include lots of sweat, vibration and sometimes just being dropped. Basic phone with maybe just a camera on it.

Must have good service and reliability.

I have seen a nice one at the AT&T store but it has so many add-ons that with a contract it is almost $200. I am willing to pay for what I want but not for things I don't want or need.

I do not text or tweet or whatever that stuff is, just need it for some work but mostly when I am out fishing, huntng, shooting or just goofing off out in the woods.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if AT&T carries it or not but the Motorola Adventure V750 is mil spec with the qualities you want and is close to the size of what you have now. I went from the Razr to the Adventure and have been happy with it.

That Casio phone is bomb-proof.

Thanks for the answers.

I am not really into cell phones for more than calling and if I use one more than 15 minutes a month it is unusual. But it is nice to have in case of an emergency.

I will second that with the casio phone. That is what I have through verizon and I love it. I went from a razor to it, and would do it again. I have dropped on concrete, dirt, oil, water, everything. It has had a rough life and is still going strong. My cousin has the same phone, and he accidently ran over his with his 2500 chevrolet truck. The phone still worked. By the way, if you want to get one, get it online at verizon. You can keep your same number, and they are much cheaper online. I was going to get one in the store, and they wanted me to sign a new contract and pay $150. I got online and got one for free with no new contract just because i had been with them so long without a contract. either way, look online for sure. it is really not as hard as it may seem.

Casio all the way, I carry one on the ship and have droped it onto the steel decks and it gets vibrated to death just sitting on my desk in my stateroom when we are underway. Still works great.
