Actually DaveTn, I never said what you attributed to me....I have said for some time that this government might as well pull down the stars and stripes and replace it with the Communist flag, and get on with it and stop the pretenses.

This present government is as Fascist/Communist as anything I have seen...I say Fascist/Communist, because both are essentially the same and have the same goal--to reduce the people under absolute despotism.

My avatar? My avatar is a political statement about the condition this country is in--and has been in, and the fact that it is worsening by the day. I thought about using an upside down American flag as an avatar ...but figured that would bring complaints as well. Oh well, I can't please everyone.

You seem to think I am pro-Communist...far from it. I am a Constitutionalist--major difference there. As for my statements about the government..I'm not an apologist and won't be. I am for MORE accountability of the government, not less. I am against expanding governmental powers, and for getting it out of the every day lives of Americans--and for holding all agents of the government accountable for their actions, and would like to see "qualified immunity" stripped away from all levels of government in this country, and for making all of the laws just as applicable to the government and their agents as it is to the ordinary person. If that is a bad thing--then so be it.

As for whether you did or did not attribute to me--the way you quoted does indeed seem to point toward that, but if you say that is not how you intended it, then that is good enough.
