Just a quick note to introduce myself. Been a 'lurker' for a month or so reading and learning. Scottish Legal Permanent Resident (hopefully on the countdown to citizenship in the next year or two). Moved to US 7 years ago living initially in the Philadelphia MainLine suburbs. Moved to Middle TN start of this year.

Made my first firearms purchases this July after having a chance to use other friends firearms or doing range rentals.

Beretta PX4(F) in 9mm

Mossberg 500 12G for the house

Did my carry course 8/15 at OnTarget in Murfreesboro and sitting patiently 'til the plastic arrives. At that point I will probably look for a 9mm carry. Like the feel of the Walther PPS, but who knows.

I am pretty sure that I will be afflicted by GAS as I already have the other GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome), so there will be other guns in my future.

Love to learn from all the information here, and hope I can help contriute over time.

Welcome neighbor, form Scotland you say? Reminds me of my trip to England and Scotland, Edinburgh was my favorite place I visited!!! Welcome to TGO. COOP

Thanks COOP. Edinburgh is awesome particularly during festival time. The Tattoo is a reccomendation for anyone over there in August. Would be good to meet up some time and compare notes. I actually was born and raised on the West of Scotland in Ayrshire.
