The best part of the gun show at Camp Jordan is the ducks and geese in the pond. Little panhandlers, they are. They end up chasing my kids around the parking lot.

Nothing too special about the show, though you might find what you are looking for. Never know...

There was a post earlier where I linked a $1 off admission coupon. What happened to it? Why was it deleted?

I noticed that myself, cause there was a chance I'd be in 'nooga for it, so had read the thread.

I wonder which day is better as far as attendance goes?

I like to show up on Saturday because I can't wait til Sunday.

My buddy is convinced that better deals are to be had on Sunday.

it will be the first i can attend in years, (job) but i plan on scoping it out on sat, and wheel and deal sun

I work till 3:30 tomorrow. Am I better off waiting till Sunday?

IMO, it doesn't matter. I think the best deals to be found are from the other attendees. Not the vendors. The vendors are there to make money. The people you want to talk to are the people that are there for the same reason you are. The people that get on TGO ever f**king day to read, discuss and talk GUNS.

I'm guessing you are referring to vz58kidjoeharrisjohnhenryKAISERAKDUDEAK DUDESlickRickwhateverhisnameisnow. I can see why his posts might be deleted. But that doesn't explain why my post with valid information--money saving information in this case--would be deleted. Doesn't whoever did the deleting know how to delete an individual's posts without getting everyone willy-nilly?? Sounds like someone needs to back away from the delete button.

You don't know how the One Touch Ban & Delete feature on vBulletin works, apparently. It nukes all posts by a member, wherever they may be, regardless of content.

If you aren't happy with that, I suggest you slap the ;) out of your friend the next time you see him and tell him to stop being an asshat.

Thanks.

I just got back from the show and I enjoyed it. There are some decent prices if you shop around a bit. I got a good deal on a couple of holsters I was looking for. The place was packed by the time I left at about 11:30. I got there right at 9am, and there were about 60 people lined up out of the door waiting to get in. It took about 15 minutes just to get it.

easy in easier out, most items were over priced, even had a vendor state that he would pay you half of what its worth and check for gold fillings and take them too. did find one good vendor with some excellent prices, got his card and will be doing some business with him soon.

I thought it was a really nice show, just about next to zero dollars changing hands in comparison to a year ago.

yep went there today. High markup on almost everything. There was a guy selling M Nagants two crates of em 130- 150$ They looked good but one can buy them all day long online for well under 100$

But, will have to go back tomorro to see if I can fing me a rail for my mossy 590A1.

Exactly. So why were the posts of others deleted? Sounds like spray and pray.

Thanks.

I've deleted his posts on gunboards previously when he's gotten out of line. It too is vBulletin. I don't get why I'm held responsible, or at least had my posts having nothing to do with him deleted, because of his actions here. He's not my problem. I've never asked for the attention he's given me, and do my best to ignore that attention, hoping it will go away.
