When I picked up the Mossberg 500 below it was in bad shape. Stock was all worn and cracked with many dents and nicks. Barrel was a rusty fixed choke 28". All of the steel parts had rust, including springs. I already had a Maverick 88 HD shotgun, but I just couldn't stand to see an old vet treated this way.

  • Completely dissassembled gun.
  • Cleaned all steel parts with steel wool and CLP.
  • Replaced springs.
  • Touched up receiver with auto touch up paint.
  • New Mossy 18 1/2" barrel.
  • Hogue Overmold stock and fore-end.
  • Limb Saver recoil pad.
  • Meprolight Tijicon bead.

Feels like a 20 Gauge when fired with Winchester 2 3/4" #1 buck!
