Because NFL teams will only risk it on players who have freak talents, which Blount does not. With Goodall setting precedence by laying down the law on player behavior, Blount has no chance.

Just read a few articles and see - his career is essentially over. His only chance is to possibly make it in the CFL and keep it clean for a few years...

Word. I was going to say that if he was any good they would still want him but if hes not....

Yeah, but you are talking about 2 guys that were already established NFL players before they f'ed up. This guy was still in college ball with so-so talent. He's done.

Someone will pick him in the 5th round, then he'll have to make it through camp. He'll get a shot.

Agree, the NFL wants stars no matter what the cost.
