The bolt catch roll pin is much smaller than the trigger guard roll pin, right?

I ask because I know I have an extra trigger guard roll pin, and it's yours if it'll work.

Yes it is, I appreciate the offer I have an extra one of those as I ordered a complete RRA kit and a separate trigger guard from Magpul, thanks for the offer though:)

No prob. Couldn't quite remember and I'm not at home to put my eyes on it.

Doesn't Grainger have a walk-in store in Nashville?

Give me a ring tomorrow morning. I live in Hermitage and have a box of various left over pins and crap. I should be able to find one I think.

What method are you using to install the pin? Best way I found was vise-grips wrapped with electrical tape. No damage to roll pin and no marks the lower.

Thanks Guys,

I ordered a few pins and a Punch set from Brownells, I will have it next week and should be good to go, I appreciate the offers of help though ;)

Nothing more maddening than having to order that last part, that last tool, that last whatever. It never ends, and I hate waiting. I can vouch for the vice grips method, BTW.

That reminds me that I need to order a spare parts kit...or build a backup rifle.:] Don't feel bad about breaking it, I'm sure I was one whack away from breaking my lower receiver while I was pounding it in. I will definitely be using ViceGrips next time. Someone mentioned a razor blade trick that should help with the front detent spring pin. I didn't know about it and spent 15 min on my hands & knees and face on the wood floor looking for a tiny piece of metal at 1:30 AM. Good luck and safe shooting!
