Holster Thoughts

I need a holster for my CZ Compact .40S&W. I'm sure I want one that is black and is mostly leather. IWB is pefered, OWB is second choice. So far I like the following:

A.High Noon Holsters - Down Under $185: Down Under Straps Black

B. Galco - Summer Comfort $70: http://www.usgalco.com/Catalog/large/SC-Black.jpg

C. Brigade Holsters - M-12 Parma $103: Brigade Holsters- Leather Gun Holsters & Accessories

D. Hoffners - Hybrid Warrior $95.00: HoffnersHybrid Warrior|HWAR

What do you guys think? My favorites are A and D.

I've had a Hoffners HW and it is a fantastic Holster. Rides high and tight and positions the butt perfectly for concealment.

The most comfortable IWB I have is an AKJ Concealco select grade. Very nice workmanship.

IF you haven't already mada a purchase check out Eric. He's a CZ Guru & a mighty fine holster maker. H.B.E. Specialty LeatherWorks Eric has a pretty fast turnaround & I've always been pleased with his work.

For me, NO IWB holster that has attachment points of whatever kind on the already thickest part of the holster is suitable.

I gave Eric @ HBE a call and ordered a IWB DC Special in black. He told me it'll be 4-6 weeks before he can make it and I told him that was fine. I gotta wait on my HCP anyways. I bet the holster will show up before the carry permit! I will post pics when it arrives.

I've got a Galco Summer-comfort and it does ok. I still prefer the Crossbreed/MTAC/KHolster IWN style though.

I agree completely. My MTAC is my most comfortable holster. When I where a paddle OWB I feel like the gun is miles away from me.

+1 for the Mtac and Crossbreed,when its IWB those 2 are a great holster,normally I wear a Crossbreed Supertuck with my G27,but when OWB I have a Desantis Mini Slide thats pretty comfortable and tucks the pistol into my side fairly well also.This holster is not too bad about the miles away feeling.
