Hello from Hohenwald, TN

My name is Charles and I live in Lewis County. I like both modern and smokepoles, yes the traditional flint and percussion guns. Shooting those guns seems like going back in time and I love the smoke from the black powder. Those guns will make you a better shooter. I love mountain man, Boone, and Crockett era's. My favorite gun is the one I got from Tip Curtis Frontier shop in the white, that I had to finish the stock and barrel. Did it the old way. The wood was a #5 curly maple and I browned the barrel. Even my wife thinks it came out beautiful. I think it is very similar to a southern rife. It's flint and .40 cal. Don't get me wrong I still love my modern stuff - CMMG 223, etc. Love to shoot, just don't get to do it as much as I would like.

Remember Keep your powder dry.
