Does anyone here have a current SIRIUS radio promo code?

I had to cancel my XM service when we traded our Acura off. The new car has SIRIUS (bleh) and I'd like to activate it but I don't want to pay full price if I don't have to.

Just wondering if any of you have a current SIRIUS promo code that might enable me to save a little money.

You could probably just try talking the customer service people into it. That's what I usually do with XM. Now that it's Sirius-XM though, they may recognize that you are an existing customer.

I have heard that Jeep owners, that have the Sirius, already turned on, will call when it shuts off to get there "free year" and get it for another year.

After listening to it over the past several months, and when I ran last night, listening to the radio and over 30 minutes, heard 3 songs, the rest commercials, I will never go back to FM only.

Yeah, that's my plan at the moment. Unfortunately after about 5 mins of hold-music, my calls are being disconnected. Not sure if it is them or my phone/service. I'm going to call later tonight.

sirius cust service is better than xm (sirius is in the us...xm is from a quickie mart somewhere.)

the 2 companies accounts are not linked, at least that's what they say. I'd call for a free trial if you can't find a good promo. after it expires they'll spam you with a few offers. I got like 6 months free after the xm in the trailblazer was shut off after the trial period when we bought it.

What would the promo code get you? Do they now charge some type of activation fee or something?

I pay about $14/month, so I'm not sure how much cheaper it can get. I think their Sirius and XM all-in-one is the most expensive, and it's only $20/month.

I'm sure you have already done it, but I'll do a little searching.

If anyone cares...........

At the beginning of the summer Sirius launched a new satellite. Unlike it's predecessors, it is a geostationary bird that hovers over the country. This will help maintain signals as the other sats move and help boost signal in general.

This satellite has JUST been activated over the past couple of days so keep an eye on your signal. It's likely stronger and steadier than before.

Well I'm turning off my Sirus radio as soon as I can get my new radio installed. I don't know about every where else but I can be riding down the interstate and the stupid thing will go out. I'm tired of it. My susb. is up in Dec I think but to me it's just not worth the headache. I even called to see If I could get a better antenna. Nope, not unless I want one of those "flying wings" on my roof. No thanks.:D

I have my radio turned off after the sub is up. And in about 2 months they send a 1/2 off letter in the mail. Then I resubscribe. It has worked for about 4 years now. I just listen to the Ipod for the months I go without. I think I get it for $6.99 a month for 6 months or a year. Then I do it again.

I got a 1yr subscription to XM for $77 via a promo-code. That's why I want a promo code for Sirius. ;)

TripleDigit... it's kind of like getting a Benefactor subscription for free.

Hey, I have no problem with you looking for or using a promo code. I'm all about looking for good deals. I was unsure of what exactly it was you were looking for.

I didn't realize there were such codes floating around for discounts on the monthly fees. I will now be sure to keep an eye out for them.

freakin Sirius did not offer me any discounts. Maybe I was too quick to renew, LOL

I was unaware the XM is less expensive. IIRC when I originally opted for Sirius they were the same.

I am guessing the programming is very similar aside from specific pro sports.
