No one ever said it was about politics. It's a well-known, respected public figure telling children to do well in school so that they will be competitive in the global economy. If your grandson calls him a communist, then I don't think he deserves to be in public school...because after all, it is government funded.

Holy cow! Politicians = politics, for one thing. For another, it's not about the message, it is a genuine concern for the high probability (based on O's modus operandi with Acorn, etc.) of overreaching, precedent-setting activism that may be delivered to our youth unchecked; cause for alarm for any conservative-minded, small-government-seeking individual. And I can't believe you are such a pile of life-experience-lacking, drinking, self-aggrandizing piece of to insult the gentleman's grand-child. Your daddy should spank you for that. Government-funded my #*$%&%. Do you even have a clue where the government gets funded? God, I hate feeding the trolls, but don't insult the man's grandchild.

This definitely cause for concern. I agree that we should watch along with our children and explain as we see fit. My concern is that this sounds much like how North Korea has indoctrinated all of the people there by placing Kim J likeness on every corner, feeding his speeches to kids at schools. Teaching the children songs about how great he is. Will that be next for O?

I am a retired squid and would give a lot to be able to go to a good old fashioned sick call and be seen by an HM than my "primary care physician" as I do now.

To your point on LP's post, I don't have kids, but agree it's not message it's method. Of course, since I am in opposition to the President, I must be a hater - I saw it on the news; disagree, racist, hater, dinosaur...

No public school is "government funded" - that is a specious statement. Public schools are taxpayer funded as the government has no money of its own and therefore cannot fund ANYTHING.
