On Thursday Sep 3 at 5:00 pm the Knoxville city Council will consider removing the long time ban on Park carry. The sponsor withdrew the bill to opt out of the State law allowing Park carry since Knoxville has a older ordinance banning Park carry Thursday is a workshop to consider removing the older ordinance.

Please try to attend, we need to have as big a crowd as possible. Council Member Steve Hall has made a motion to repeal the old ordinance banning the right to carry from city parks. There could be a chance to allow carry in Knoxville parks, but we need a huge turnout.

Correct, but this is when we have the best chance to affect how council members will vote and make our voices heard.
