So, I decided I was in the market for a pocket-carry pistol just on impulse, and somehow I've ended up with both a Ruger LCP and a S&W M&P 340 CT. The S&W was at least researched a bit, but the LCP was totally spur of the moment (thanks Roy!). Anyway, without further ado, here are my 2 tiny babies! :koolaid:

Nice! I have an LCP for light carry and love it, would like a 340 one day. Oh yeah, thanks for doing your part to stimulate the economy :koolaid:

I got a M&P 360. I like it but I think now I would be more happy with the 340 CT.

I bet that 340 was a pain in the wallet. I want one though!
Yeah, I about :D myself when I saw the MSRP on those things. :) It definitely wasn't cheap, but I got a pretty good deal on a slightly used one from a nice guy down in Lewisburg, with a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster, a Galco IWB holster, and some Federal .357 magnum JHP thrown in to boot.

To be perfectly honest, I'm less worried about the effect on my wallet than I am about what's going to happen to my hand when I start shooting .357 out of a 1 7/8" gun that weighs only 13.3 oz.(!)... ;)

It's definitely not the most comfortable gun to shoot. but I bet the 340 is better than the 360. I can't use a very high grip on the 360 because the hammer comes back and bites me. I had a hole in the web of my hand for a week after that one. they are accurate little S.O.B.'s for a snub nose though. I love the XS big dot on that thing.
