Jackson noob here!

Hey Folks!

This site was recommended by a patient of mine and so far I am impressed. I, like so many others, recently became concerned with the subtle and not so subtle threats that we have been seeing when it comes to our right own and carry weapons. My first purchase was the sig p226 and I am in love.

My wife is somewhat interested in firearms which makes my new hobby so much more enjoyable. :koolaid: She is tiny and loves semi-autos so I have been eying the kahr pm9 and cw9. Because of her size it is hard for her to conceal, the size of the gun is important and we would have bought the LCP had 380 ammo not been so expensive and scarce as we both feel like she needs to put many rounds through the gun she is gonna carry. That being said, if anyone has one they would like to sell or let her put a few rounds through we would be much obliged. She shot a 38 snub nose today and didn't think too much of the revolver.

Thanks!

Welcome, I'm from Jackson as well. I own a cw9 and LCP that you both are more than welcome to shoot (if you can find some 380 ammo for the LCP). Drop me a pm if want to get together some time.

You can go to the great outdoor store shooting range and buy their range use ammo to shoot the 380, but you have to shoot the range ammo in their range, (you can't buy it and walk out the door with it), of course if you don't shoot it all you get to keep and take home what you don't shoot.

So, I would go and buy two or three boxes to use in the range and then leave with a couple of boxes in my shooting bag....but that is just what I would do, and mind you I would not bother telling anyone what I was up to either.

Hey guys thanks for the info and the offer! Very generous. She did get the chance to shoot the LCP and really enjoyed it. The reason we are looking at the Kahrs is because of the size and because it is a 9mm. She looked at the cw9 this weekend and said she wouldn't feel comfortable carrying because of the size so I guess we are back to the pm9.
