Impromptu Saturday Shoot with Hero Gear

I had the extreme pleasure of being able to attend an impromptu shoot with Molonlabetn, Fury2Neon and Joe & Kelly from Hero Gear yesterday. Joe brought out some cool full-auto and suppressed rifles for us to monkey around with.

Full auto is fun. Lots of fun.

Fury2Neon puts a much needed hole in Osama Bin Laden.

Molonlabetn cuts loose with a full-auto suppressed UZI.

Yours truly tastes full-auto 5.56 ... and it is good. Oh yes, it is good.

You know why those special forces guys are so good at shooting on the move while heading for cover?

Because their wives know how to shoot too. Seriously.

Joe, you're a wonder. thanks for giving them a venue to meet and for providing the toys to bring them out...(they're spoiled so it takes something really special to get them moving..heheheheh)

Hey may have been taking a flying shot at me. We were going to get together one Saturday and shoot but that Saturday got eaten up with soccer games. I got a weekend reprieve on this particular weekend, though

Translation: He saw the full auto fun and got jealous.

Actually it did look like you guys had fun. The comment referred to the fact that I challenged any member of this forum to bring along any non-Glock pistol and 1000 rounds and I would bring my Glock and 1000 rounds and we could have a little torture test. After a somewhat heated(albeit in hindsight silly) exchange with Tungsten he accepted the challenge.

You seem obsessed with this. If it's an intimidation thing... you lose. I don't scare. Sorry. We can meet anytime you want at the range. I'm also sure enough of myself to repeat anything that I've said here, in person.

I contacted him as soon as I saw this as I was serious. I tried to set a meeting up for that very Saturday. Obviously we both have lives so he and I PM'd schedules back and forth and he finally bailed on me on the Friday before because he had to go to a soccer game. He asked if I could do Sunday and I was unavailable.

He then stated "I was informed that pretty much every Saturday from now until Thanksgiving is going to be soccer and these silly Rec League teams don't announce the game-day schedules until a few days before. :rolleyes:"

We agreed to just get together at the Mid TN TGO members shoot in October. It is not looking to likely that that is gonna even happen.

And then low and behold the very next Saturday he has enough time to drive to Winchester(we probably live less than 5 miles apart) and shoot! I just found this odd as usually when I make or accept a challenge I follow through. I was just being an arse as it is seemingly in my nature. The whole thing seems silly and there is no ill-will intended. So party on Wayne!

Thanks Don... I'd been looking for a link to that Taylor article. Warmer BS has likely never been spewed, even from a gunrag. (No reflection on you Don, I appreciate the link, and you didn't write it). Two inches at 35M? Sure, no problem . And that's one of the more believable feats Taylor brags about. Chuck Taylor is, without a doubt, the worst shill in a business riddled with them. Doubtless Yeager is blowing his cell phone up begging him to do a write-up of his school...
