I just heard a BEEEeeeeeeppppppp and looked out side and my bike is on its side! I think its dead!

The beeping sound was your bike calculating mass-weight ratios, and its reaction was the culmination of having reached a calculation result.

Pretty sure if we doubled, one of us would have to be surgically removed from the bike...or vise-versa!

(Gonna be a washout today, boys)

I ended up riding on the Trace in the rain today anyway. A friend of mine rode in from Texas last night and I wanted to take him to experience some of the best parts of the Trace, from Leipers Fork to Nashville. So off we went.

I'm really getting to enjoy riding in the rain. :)

Wish I would have known this. I would have tagged along.

We didn't see a drop of rain until very late afternoon/early evening.

We didn't go ride until 4:30. A bunch of us went up to G&L to shoot first. :P

I guess bikers fall into two main groups, those that avoid the rain when they can and those that don't care or enjoy it. 3 out of the last 5 long trips my wife and I have taken on the bike, we left in the pouring rain.

I didn't even have my rain gear on yesterday.

Yea, the rain doesn't really bother me. This time of year, when the temps are a little lower, is when I really enjoy riding. There is only a short period to really enjoy it, so if it means chancing a little rain, so be it.

I would have made the entire ride yesterday, but no one was stepping up, and I didn't really feel like making the run alone.

We'll see if anyone wants to try for next Saturday.

Saturdays are pretty much out for me until after the first of the year. If they offer OT for Saturday I will be at work and this is the busy time of year for us.

If you ride down for the Celebration of Liberty I might join you. I will not be working that day.
