where to live in nashville

Mt. Juliet is great. Good to HCP holders, you can carry in the parks. I haven't seen any restaurants posted here. You can find reasonable rent and it's only 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. I lived in Hermitage for 13 years and it just got to crowded for my taste. We've got the Re-loaders Bench, Stones River, a TWRA range just outside of town. New Walmart coming in and a new Lowes just opened. Providence is a new mall with all the major stores Best Buy, Target, J.C. Penny, Red Lobster and Olive Garden to name few. It's big enough to suite most of your needs and far enough away from Nashville to stay out of trouble.

MJ is nice too... just not many apratments there if you are looking for an apartment.

I grew up in MJ when it was a town without any redlights, fast food, or malls LOL. I hope to move back out to MJ in a few years.

The one bedrooms are under $700 a month. It's always worth looking at the nice places and seeing what you get talk them into. It's a renters world right now.

Nope, I just know what I like...

I did an appraisal up in Mt. Juliet, right by the new outdoor "mall" shopping center at I40 and Mt. Juliet Road. I like Mt. Juliet, wouldn't mind living there. My brother lives in White's Creek, a little more rural but seemed to be very nice, other than a plane that crashed next door back several months ago.:)

Umm, yeah. At the rate I will be paid, my housing allowance is going to be about $500 max per month. I know its not much at all but Im not looking for something really nice, just something liveable and relatively safe. Think College Dorm or similar.

You mean no one's suggested the Dickerson Pike/Trinity Lane area?:tough:

I'd stay plumb out of Davidson County if I could.

There are many very nice places in Davidson County.

For kind of money you need a roommate. Get a nice 2 bedroom for $800 a month and split it.

I would rather share a nice apartment then live in a dump in a bad neighborhood.

I've tried the room mate thing before and its not for me. Ill live in my truck or drive 80miles to work before i share a residence again, aside from immediate family.

Grew up in Donelson and my parents still live there. I call Green Hills home and love it.
