5 9 190lbs...I just got the PX90.....started last night though...so although I will not be "competing" Im glad to have a crew thats going it with me...

BTW, this p90x thing is a BITCH

Man, when I first hit P90X, the first workout almost made me barf, seeing as how it's essentially alternating between push ups and pull ups for an hour :panic:

A friend of mine dropped around 50 lbs, he followed it...everyday...ate the food he was suppose to. Thing is, not only did he lose the weight, he looks stronger. That program works.

I would love to have it, can't afford it at the moment, back to school expenses eating me alive. Like I mentioned, I'm good on my weight, want to get in shape. Might do some crossfit stuff. If you haven't looked at that stuff, do it. That stuff is intense, and the P90X seems to be similar.

A friend gave me some .mpgs of the p90x. the power 90 which was the precursor i was given rips of the dvd's.

i like a challenge. 6'3" 210-215 but have been wanting to see 185 for years. everytime i get down to 195 or so i put it all back on. weighed in at 240+ a few years back.

another diet to try is the abs diet. it worked great for me when i stuck to it.

What do y'all think of two categories for "winners"?

1 for overall transformation via photos, and a 2nd for total pounds for those who don't want to post pics?

how about percentage of weight lost. that way it's a fair race for everyone of every size.

Plenty of room. It's a y'all come. We'll try to get all involved to start Friday, but will try to accommodate latecomers too as well as we can.

Good idea, give everybody one last weekend to eat whatever (or for some to get an early start to the diet & exercise ;) )

Sept 1 works for me. I'll start this week anyway, but will call it Sept 1 for sake of the compettition and to let everyone have the free weekend to pig out.

I need to start today lol.

I did start today. Shocked the dog when we went from a walk to a jog. Shocked the wife when she came home to lean chicken and rice for dinner.

Yall are going to start before Labor Day weekend? Ya'll are crazy, you need to start that Tuesday September 8th so you can have the last weekend of summer to get your grub on!:rolleyes: Num num num num.
