OK guys, I had a Dr's appt yesterday so my official wt is shamefully 376#. I will have B4 and after pics available should I have a chance at winning this.

My question is..with a number of us needing this because of health reasons, the number of us who share in our hobby, and the cash that us "bigboy" TGO members are capable of shelling out...where are our vendors..Cmon guys..pitch in a prize, it's tax deductable??

Hey all: Just letting you know my internet at home will be done a few days at least, may not have much chance to check in, but know that I'm out here working hard to kick all of your butts!

Now get to work.

I usually hit the scales 1-2 times a week when I'm at the YMCA...I'm currently stuck at 245-248....down from 280 in Feb 07...when I started at the YMCA...I used the indoor cycling class(intense 900+calory burn per class) ...boot camp...rowing machines...lap swimming and a SEAL Team Exercise routine. Its all good

Yesterday was my day off exercising, aside from 5 miles on the bike. Today I rode 2 miles and now I have no motivation to do anything... a guy I work with is trying to talk me into the Country Music Half Marathon thing. Im not to into that.

I've had crap for motivation the last few days. Lots of stress. Down 3 pounds though, some how.

Somebody pump me up!

Why we should lose weight.

You never know when you're going to be faced with Indians in their underwear chasing your fat ass.

I'm late to the party, but I am still going to chime in here, and follow everyone's progress. At my high school graduation, I was 6'6" and 280 lbs. My highest weight was 383 lbs most recently (April 2009). I weighed in today at 358 lbs. For me it's diet modification and exercise. I've tried all of the diets and the pills. The ONLY answer is getting off your butt and getting moving.

So, not eligible for the competition, but 6'6" and 358 lb today.

Good luck all.

MOTIVATED

Lets see....hit the bike path at Crockett Park on Saturday...maybe 6-7 miles...Monday...biked the Smyrna Greenway started at Lee Victory Park...did 10.5 miles...tonight after work is the YMCA...and some swimming and a weight check. My wife is tagging along on the bike rides too...and we've motivated her brother as well...he bought a bike over the weekend and is going to join us and kick his smoking habit.

Im seriously thinking of biking my 11 miles to work. I just dont want to do the 11 miles home.

Transport the bike one way in the car or truck?

Drop the car off at work?
