I have a M66 with a very nice trigger job. It is a joy to shoot and is a real tack driver. Several people have offered me very nice trades for it, but it is a real "keeper" for me. I have a PT-1911 which is a great gun and suits my purpose very nicely. So, my vote is .... get both. Although I have shot several modified 1911s in the past, including at least one Kimber and a Gold Cup, I am perfectly satisfied with the Taurus.

What did you get?

Metro Arms II 1911 5 inch $325.00 shipped used in great condition. I love 1911's. This is what I can afford right now. I will get another Kimber or S/A after the new baby gets here in Sept
