Hi,

Well, it's time to get the brakes on my truck looked at, making some noise.

Anyone have recommendations on where to take it?

Thanks

Gareth

Fountain City Auto Clinic off of Broadway. I think it is Woodrow St.

I cannot vouch for their brake jobs but have been in business a long time.

They did work on my truck a month or so ago. Could have really stuck it to me. I would not have known. But they fixed it for way less than I expected it to cost.

so I have had good luck there, and he also works on grannies van. She is real pleased with them too.

Finding a good garage is a real crapshoot.

I'm not usually a fan of chain shops, but for what it's worth I had good luck with NTB in West Knox when I lived there. They are at West Town Mall. They didn't try to upsell, and were very fair.

Ever consider working on it yourself? You can find all the info you need on the web, save a lot of money, and there is a certain satisfaction on recieves from fixing it yourself.

if they are disc brakes which most new cars are that is easy. work on cars myself. now the rears might be drum which is slittle bit of a pain. NTB is owned by sears and is kinda pricey, firestone is very pricey, worked there and I know someone who is s store manager.
