I don’t think that is correct. That was the original draft. If that had passed we wouldn’t be having these problems. Because some people thought they had to be able to carry in bars it went from “Restaurant Carry†to “Guns in barsâ€.

There was an amendment that would have prohibited carry in places that were restricted to 18+ that was stripped out but i believe the final law still restricted places that are 21+.

I tried looking it up in the code but what i found on michie hadn't been updated with the new exemption.

because it isn't there. The only restrictions on carry in the law as it passed are in regards to legally posted establishments. Though the language of the law makes for some gray area in regards to what classifies as a restaurant, but that lack of clarity is also in the state licensing laws.
