Ross holster shopping questions

O.K. Bought my wife a Ruger SP101 2.25"barrel with Crimson Trace laser sights. We've been looking around and she says she likes the Ross M4HS holster, I've looked at it myself and it looks pretty good. Having shopped a little, the price does vary between web sites but I have not dealt with any of them. Are there any sites to stay away from and who is usually the best with prices, honesty, etc.?

Can't you just order directly from Ross? How does their prices compare with other websites?

Check some of the gunshops in your area. I've bought two Ross holsters from one of our local shops and each time saved over $30 from the Ross site price.

Kudos on the spousal artillery. My wife covets one, also. For now, she'll have to make due with the Rossi she has, though. If you get the Ross holster, let us know how she likes it for daily carry. May get my wife one.

The few web sites that I have looked at are $5 to $10 dollars cheaper than the Ross site. :screwy:

Which shop are you talking about? Every now and then I get over that way, being around Center Hill Lake, I'm not drastically far away.

I am kind of reluctant to go to a shop because as you all know, the holsters are not really arranged in any kind of logical fashion. If they were, they have been mixed up over time by customers picking up and putting down in the wrong spots :bat:. You can spend hours looking through all they have and not find what you are looking for. I was trying to avoid that but, if I know somebody local has it for a good price, that would be different.

I bought a ross from frontier they had one in stock for a Sig p245 not what you would call a big seller. Pretty impresive inventory and the nicest most helpful people you'll ever meet. By the way not used very much but happy with quality.
