Detailed Description These rounds were not intended for use in a polygonal style bore!!!!.

I wonder why. FMJ generally works just fine in polygonal barrels. It's unjacketed lead that doesn't do so well.

What exactly does that mean? What is a polygonal barrel?

I contacted them and the reply was to the effect that the plated bullet diameter for this ammo is 0.399" and that it will not function in a Glock or other polygonal barrel firearm with a bore diameter greater than 0.400"

So there ya go. As to whether it will work in my P2000... I am not sure yet. I don't have a micrometer with me and I've yet to get a reply from the HK Pro forums.

I know for certain that the 40c has a traditionally rifled barrel. Not sure about the XD. I think it does, but I'm not positive.

H&K, Glock, and Baby Eagles are the most common poygonal-bore handguns. XDs are conventionally rifled, and would have no problem with these rounds.

Shoot all the lead you want to in polygonal bbls.,just keep them clean on a regular basis. It's all I would run in my Glock. Not as bad as everybody thinks it is.

http://www.precisiondelta.com/products_new.htm seems to have really cheap prices...anyone ever used this? I am about to buy 2000 rds of 9mm from them, unless of course I hear different

$254 per 1000 ain't exactly a good deal in my book... You're not looking at the listing for just the bullets, are you? They are $67 or so bucks per thousand, but that isn't loaded ammo, it's just the bullets for folks who reload.

www.georgia-arms.com has loaded 9mm for $165 per 1000, fyi: http://www.georgia-arms.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2207

No problem... I got excited too at first, until I read the catagories more carefully. Better to find out now than when the box arrives!

For 9mm, I would think your cheapest route would be buying WWB in the 100rd value packs.

I know I want to buy in bulk...2000 at a time (if the price is right) RangeUSA sells 500 for $80.00...so I am going on that as a base price...if I buy online and pay shipping, it doesnt make much sense... I was just tryin to find cheaper...
