Vote is Mon Aug 17 at 7pm. Public hearing on budget at 6pm. If you live in Wilson county, not contacting your representative is as good as doing nothing. I got the NRA briefing via email and I just called my Commissioner. His position is that if the state believes I'm qualified to carry, that the right to carry should have no further restrictions. He will oppose any attempt to "opt out". :rolleyes:

Wow - thats awful. I hope every Wilson County resident on this board picks up the phone.. my county could be next!

I'm on it! I just got off the phone with my commissioner and his wife and they both are of our mindset.

I am really happy about that! I plan on being there tonight.
