The core and end cap are 7075 Aluminum and the tube is Grade 2 seamless Titanium. DSCN0497.jpgDSCN0496.jpgDSCN0494-1.jpg6280_557640677018_56708387_32827343.jpgCanEngraving01.jpgDSCN0516.jpg

Gotta say, this thing is a ton of fun to shoot! Nice build job on the can, St33vO!

Heh, forgot to say sheepdog and Good_Steward got to shoot her today. I'm glad I found a box of federal value pack...we shot the whole box today and all I needed on the P22 was a couple sprays of CLP and she ran about 100% after that.

Out of curiosity how much do you have invested not counting the stamp? What style baffle are you running?

I have had a hankering to build my own but don't have access to a lath right now.

By the way very nice looking/sounding can.

Great job! Sounds good too. What are you going to coat/paint/park/blue it with? I am also intrested in what kind of baffle system you are running and is it a sealed can or can you take it apart to clean?

Damn fine work, Steve. Thanks for letting me try it out.

I'd say it was a blast, but it was really more of a whisper...

I'm seriously considering not coating it as I really like the color of the beadblasted Ti. I may consider duracoat or KG Gun Kote for the Aluminum parts.

so does that mean the plans are patent pending? i three would be interested in the plans like the baffles, and like said whether it can be disassembled... im guessing since you had the cahonez to use it wet that its not a totally sealed...anything else you can share about the buid would be awesome... it looks good as is and sounds good as well

Let's just say I have a friend who's working on some class II paperwork that I'd like to be working with in the future although the design is not completely original, it is different and I already have some improvements I'd like to make :chill:

It can be completely disassembled into a core, end cap and tube. It also has two milspec Viton Fluoroelastomer O-rings rated for 400F which I haven't had to replace yet after about 750 rounds through the can and several assembly/disassembly cycles. I do have a lot of improvements that I'd like to make, but that will have to wait for another Form 1 or a Class II license approval.

Man, how I hate my misspent youth in those shop classes. I could've been gaining knowledge for this. I was cutting and welding BBQ grills out of water tanks that my cousin convinced me would make us rich and you guys were doing this cool stuff.
