This is a great book for anyone of any skill type to read.

I noticed they were on sale (bargain book area) at the local Barnes and Noble store for $8.

Picked one up, wasn't dissapointed.

You are correct. I had downloaded all them and I thought it was there. I'll have to look again. I have the Ranger's Handbook, US Medical Handbook, Army Survival, and Marine Corp Survival in PDF if any one wants them. Just PM me or e-mail and I'll get them to you.

In the Avenues Mall in Murfreesboro. Yes, there are a couple good sites to download the manuals, but this paperback fits nicely into my 72 hour kit.

When I went through S.E.R.E school in the Army, they said the best survival manuals are the Army Survival Manual, the SAS Survival manual, and the Boy Scout Handbook. Need to add all three to your library.

Does the older Boy Scout Handbook have more how to information than the new ones? I have an older one, just wondered if I should update or not.

I taught SERE on the Navy side in the late 90's. Another good source for info is the FM5-05.70. Which is a newer version of the FM21-76.
