Picked this guy up today. Been looking for a newer truck as of late and found this guy for the right price.

Cool, I tried to find one with the 7.3l but all the 00-02's I looked at were either ragged out or were asking way more than the newer models with considerably less mileage.

Good looking truck. I've had two 7.3s, an old body style and an '02. Loved them, will be looking for another soon I think.

I'm not a 6.0 fan, but in my opinion they had most of the issues worked out by late '04, early '05.

Nice truck!

Is it a gas burner or the 6.0?

Emblem on the door is for a 6.0L PSD. Looks good, but dayyyyyyym, Mike... why'd you go for a long bed??? :poop:

I agree with 56FordGuy. Im not a fan of the 6.0, but hey it could be worse and have the V10 in it. I just loved the 7.3, I have worked on many of them. They are/were a great motor. Anyway great looking truck Mike.

You should be ashamed of yourself for buying a Ford. If you were patriotic you would have bought a Government Motors vehicle instead.

I've worked on a bunch of 7.3s. I believe that engine will fit into automotive history just like the small block Chevy and the Ford 351. It was just a good engine. I even worked on a few V10s, mainly ignition coils.

+1 for getting a long bed. My truck has a 9' bed, and it's been so useful I'd hate to go back to a 'regular' 8' bed. I couldn't imagine having a short bed.

Congrats, again, Mike! Good to see it in person yesterday! It'll be a good truck for you (and this is coming from a snooty Cummins owner) :D
