When I pulled my gear out of storage and decided not to refurbish my lee loadmaster presses, I researched and decided to go with the Hornady Lock-n-load, only to find that they were out of stock everywhere.

If the rush has died down a bit, I may end up ordering one. Good press. Only fault I had with it is that the case feeder won't handle tapered cases (m1 carbine).

I picked up the Lock n Load AP this week from Midsouth. Best deal around I think.

I'm a Dillon fan myself. They not only work well but have a real warranty. I have used it a few times, even after 25 years. I like the 550 though over the 650. I like to be in control of when the shell plate advances. One of the things I did not like about the Lee or the older Hornady progressives. And the Lee priming system gave me fits, I don't care what the guy in the article says. I would get a Lee if i needed lots of pistol ammo and could not afford one of the other two.

TNTitan,

Thanks for the post. That was a great review. I'm looking to get into reloading in the next year or so and have begun my research. That article is very helpful
