I got to 5:50 and had to quit. Piss poor production to that point of ripped off internet pics and video then "you have been lied to by religous institutions"

Was this Michael Moores poor brothers movie or what.

Give me the cliff notes version of the rest of the BS potrayed in this so I don't have to waste bandwidth waiting for a punch line. What's the conspiracy this time?

Two hour video on internet? I think that instead of watching, I'll just do something more fun like pound bamboo splints under my fingernails.

skip forward to part 3 1 hour and 11 minutes in.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies...If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency..The banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their own property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826

oooh kay!

I don't remember Jefferson saying that and I'm a student of his witticisms. as a matter of fact, the word corporation wasn't around when he was...heh.. SNOWJOB!!!!

better yet, just do some research on central banking, the federeal reserve system and how it came to be, and how much power we give a private institution

I personally like more power in private institutions. The balance of power then sways to which side provides the best goods and services or the citizens (read people) can decide not to utilize their services and thus end the monopoly by ending their cash flow. With the advent of money orders and as long as cash is around, I can pay my bills and not need the services of any bank. If I see that "central banking" is going to be a pain in my butt, then I just won't borrow at all. "The borrower is the slave to the lender". Central banking effects only big players in huge sums of money. If we all stop borrowing, then the lending institutions have to lower rates and make it so we would "want to" borrow. Take a lesson from zero interest car deals, to many cars, we will let you buy them on time with no interest just to move them. I can drop my bank account tomorrow and not miss a beat.

the federal reserve charges our country ( us ) interest on every dollar they print. and they don't have to back the dollars with anything. essentially it is worthless paper backed by nothing that they can print more of anytime they want and use it, or circulate it for interest.

the federal reserve system has been in effect since 1913, never once been audited.

are you sure you prefer they have the power over our money? instead of congress, who as per our constitution is the only body that should have that power. infact it is unconstitutional for the federal reserve system to exist.

this is what a real US dollar looked like when it was backed by something, you could trade it for gold on demand. try that with you money today.

Any modern financial system of currency is backed on "faith". The Central Bank knows it cannot flood the markets with paper and survive as the banks they loan to could not cope with the inflation that would bring and they are smart enough to know that. They want a brisk economy that will demand capitol be brought into markets to develop more business.

And you made my point quite well...DO we want a liberal based congress ordering when and how much money should be printed and put into circulation??? I think not.

no i would much rather have it made by a private company which the shareholders of also own a very large percentage of the media and use money that they print to back candidates that have already agreed to preserving their stranglehold on our economy.

While the Fed reseve is illegal, the IRS is illegal, income tax is illegal, ect....... it is not going away. the Fed does do a good job of controlling inflation and such on a practical basis. Is it efficient? ..... it's government! It is a reality that we must live with? Much like the so called deficit and so forth, yes.

I'm not much on the whole conspiracy theory thing. While they sometimes are fun forms of "mental masturbation" and an enjoyable bit of fantasy... they also often end up making the people who really believe them look like ninnies. I used to work with a guy who swore til his death bed that the government was putting mind control gas in jet airliner contrails.

Greenspan wrote the chapter in Capitalism the unknown ideal by Ayn Rand about the gold standard. He proved his theory while he was Fed Chair. If the Fed uses a standard like gold, any standard will work so long as it is a commodity, inflation can be held at bay but if you stay from the standard inflation sets in leading to a recession. He proved it when in 1997 he left the standard he was following and started following rates instead. This led to the downturn in '98 and the full recession in 2000.

Those articles in Capitalism The Unknown Ideal came from Rand's The Objectivist Newsletter. I was a subscriber when they appeared. Still have them around here somewhere.

did you know that Abraham Lincoln and JFK both printed real US money trying to get away from the central banking system. didn't work out to well for them.

You think the bankers killed them?

Posted

i'm not saying they killed him, i'm saying that they stood to loose out on a whole bunch of interest money from then on out if either Lincoln or Kennedy had been successful in doing away with the federal reserve.

ever seen executive order 11110 signed by JFK? not many people have.

don't tell you you believe that the families that have been in charge of central banking since before the pilgrims have never used their money to influence the world in their favor.

Seriously... this is all a bit ridiculous isn't it? I am sure there are better venues on the Internet to discuss conspiracy theories rather than erode the credibility of a Pro-2nd Amendment Rights community with that sort of talk. :taser:

I for one don't care to have TGO associated with it.
