Hello guys! New here from Canada I just joined these forums and would like to take the time to let you know a little bit about me. I am Pete, I'm 25 years of age. And I am hoping to make some wonderful friends along the way. I hope to get to know everyone here. Hope to have a great time here. Nice to meet you all.

Hey, Pete. Welcome. What part of Canada? I do a lot of work there. In BC last week and ON in a few weeks.

You made a wise decision making your way here before we annex Canada. We'll be easier on you who don't resist.

Welcome! I used to do some fishing on Manatoulin Island...Kagawong. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been and the fishing was great!!! Hope you like it here as well!

Welcome to TN Gun Owners, Pete. :woohoo:

I've often found myself marveling at some of the gun laws in Canada. Many of us south of the border often assume that it's so draconian that you can't own anything cool up there, but that's the one aspect that we often get wrong. The laws are indeed tight but you guys clear the initial hurdles for ownership, you don't have to jump through any of the regulatory hoops that we do down here to own short barrel rifles and such.

I've got a friend (and TGO member) up in Canada right now on business. He didn't put you onto us did he?

Welcome! Like the man said, where in Canada? It's a BIG country. My son married a Canadian girl and is in the process of moving to Port McNicoll (near Midland and Barrie) Ontario. Too much snow for me.
