Cliff Notes: There are so many pythons loose in the everglades that one of the county workers has become an expert on their elimination. Did I mention how huge some of these things can get? :P

MIAMI — Nobody has killed more Burmese pythons in the Everglades than Bob Hill.

Long before the state launched its new python patrol, Hill was quietly -- aside from judicious employment of a 12-gauge -- racking up a count of constrictor carcasses likely to stand for some time.

Yeah I listen the Bubba the Love Sponge Show on Howard 100 on Sirius, and they have been talking about it.

Folks just get tired of having to take care of these things and they decided the best thing to do is release them into the wild. :P

Crazy, but I have been dreaming about going down there and helping out.....sounds fun.

My sister was in charge of the forest in Florida and she was telling us a few weeks ago that a lot of people get them as pets and when they get too big they turn them back out to "nature". Problem is they don't know how to live wild and go looking in campgrounds ect for food. It's all fun and games till some retirees precious little ****zu gets eaten!:D
