Barrel Threading (Knoxville)

Recommended Posts

I need to get the barrel of my Saiga 223 threaded. Anyone know a place in the Knoxville area that can do it? I checked with Troy at InRangeC2, but he isn't taking any new jobs right now. Plan B is renting the do-it-yourself kit that is floating around.

Give Jim a call at Predator Custom Shop, they do great work. Predator is at 3350 Papermill Dr in Knoxville.

Yeah, but cutting that shroud off can be a bit touchy. You go to far and now you're going to spend at least another $200 SBR'ing that baby!

Not sure which shroud your talking about. I had to cut a muzzle nut off the last one I did. Just a few minutes with a dremel and it was off.

I made another thread about this, but I'll post here as well. Just sent mine into Red Jacket and he said their backlog is cleared and they are working on 2-4 weeks right now!
