since I haven't seen on, .22 AR-15 range report

Well, everyone wants to talk about these, and show them off, but noone has posted how they shoot, so I thought I would post my experience. Picked one up at the Sparta show from Dodson and associates (best price I've seen thus far too, $549, they're at most of the nashville shows and such btw, gotta throw em some business, they did a good job), I got the plain old fashion M4 style, no rail's or fancy stuff. Haven't shot it a whole lot, but it is a blast!

Took it out first thing when I got home, and ran the remainder of a Federal 550 rnd bulk pack through it (a little over 100 rounds). Nary so much as a hickup! Cycled every round perfectly. That was a variety of loading the 30 round mag full, and loading 10-15 rounds, firing one shot at a time and carefully aiming, and just kind of blasting through a clip (WHEEEEE!!!!). As for the accuracy, it was just slightly to the right out of the box at 15 yards (my easier range to get to, the other requires a 4 wheeler or 4wd, and wading through tick infested weeds). I moved it one click to the left, and all of a sudden I couldn't figure out where the heck they were going. Turns out, I was putting them through the 9mm hole I was using as a target, lol.

Haven't tried this gun with any other types of ammo, but I have faith it will perform just fine. My thoughts are, this thing is well worth the money. Feels like a normal AR, shoots great, and is accurate.

Well, I haven't tried it past about 15 yards, but like I said, same hole at 15 yards, so I doubt it's gonna suddenly start going all over. Oh, and they will sling lead quite well!

the federal has always ran well in my cmmg conversion as well, it's the winchester you gotta watch out for. every other round will jam for me.

I tried to bump fire mine, and the damn thing doesn't have enough back pressure to get it to reset, at least not for me.

I love Federal bulk pack. I run it through my 10/22 all the time and never have a problem. Remington, on the other hand...
