Japanese WWII rifle info

If anyone would happen to know what caliber the japenese rifle was that was used in the second world war i sure could use the info. I know there are several different ones but i will submit photos shortly im wanting to clean it and shoot it. I just need the caliber lol. I believe it is likely an Ariska Type 99 7.7 mm. Does it still have the chrysanthemum on the receiver? The ones with the mum are rare and more valuable.

Look at the muzzel.

If the bore size is close to a .22 it is a 6.5, if it is close to a .30 it's a 7.7.

Midway is one of the few places you can find ammo.

cool, thanks everyone for your help im going to clean it and have it inspected. this gun has personal value and isnt for sale though sorry i am trying to get a collection of WWII rifles tho so if you come accross any good buys yall let me know. thanks again.
