I shot a 3 round group of .21 " (center to center) @ 200 yards today. ( Yes, this is my current best) I loaded a 168 SMK with 42 grains of IMR 4064 in LC brass and a LR Win Primer.

I was also shooting a single shot dot exersize at 200 and was able to hit all 2" dots in the 1" center circle except the cold bore which was on the edge of the 2" dot.

To say the least I was happy.

Rifle: Rem 700 SPS tactical off bipod.

A Bushnell Elite 10X, Gotta save for the good stuff. The scope is not bad though for the price. It holds zero pretty well. As you can see the windage was a little off though. That was not the scope that was me. i should have dialed in one more click (1/4 minute)

Thanks guys..... Like I said, that group made me pretty happy. I need to get my 5 shot group that tight. I just ordered a new stock for my rifle so we will see if that was a good choice or not. (HS Pecision Urban Police) (On the LTR)

HS has the fattest wrist/grip area for any stock out there. If you got mits your good. If you have, well lady hands, better try something else.

I was getting a Mcmillan then life happened and I had to back out. I then got a call this week and picked the HS precision stock up for $150 new... could not pass it up!!!

3 rounds is not a group, try 5-10

3 rounds is not a group, try 5-10

Thanks for the uplifting post. I am not bragging, I was proud of my success thus far... I do agree that a 5 to 10 shot group shows more consistancy. I just worry about the heat of the barrel. I do like to shoot 5 shot groups though.

Thanks for all the other posts, A guy likes a pat on the back every once in a while!

According to Merriam - Webster dictionary, 3 fits the bill. ;)

2 rounds touching @ 200 yards = possible luck

3 rounds touching @ 200 yards = great shooting

Nothing left to prove with a 5 shot group.

Congrats on getting her dialed in. Wish I could shoot like that.
