Summer of Evil on Fox tomorrow (8/7/09)?

Anyone else planning on watching (I will likely record) - it's on Fox News at 9 Central. Even after all the years, I remember hearing about it and being scared - the boogeyman had a face, as it turned out when they found out who the killers were.

My Grandma and old maid Aunt lived in the "old house" on the farm and when my Grandma was gone to visit my Aunts (Daddy's sisters), one of us had to stay at the old house with my Aunt. That summer of 69 was one such time.

The house was really old, creaky, and had no lockable doors and no air conditioning - so all the windows were wide open with just a screen; plus, I was a kid with a kid's vivid imagination (remember telling ghost stories as a kid and that feeling of being scared silly but loving it, while sitting around a campfire or just hanging out with friends or cousins on summer nights?).

So after I saw the TV news about the Tate murders, I was jumpy the rest of that night and every noise made me look around. I am sure I slept with a light on that night!

Hard to believe it's been 40 years and I can clearly remember sitting there by myself thinking why am I here and why couldn't my brother have been the one to stay?

So I will watch it and surely remind myself there is evil afoot in our world and it sure was out and busy that warm night in August 1969.
