Vindication at last!

Well, I spent my morning in court today fighting the decision of the Dept of Safety to deny my HCP renewal. My permit should be back in my hands soon!

Sitting in the courtroom reminds me why we all need to be prepared. I think every adult should have to spend some time, in court, listening to how the other half of society lives and thinks. However, it made me a little nervous to see all those people looking at me and hearing that I was there to appeal a HCP decision. At least they also had to pass through the metal detector to get inside.
