That is seriously one ugly... thing. I remember seeing that on Future Weapons a while back. Definitely a case of function over form. :D

Absolutely! With the plastic molding casing I bet they can get it to look however anyone would want. It could even be pink for Joe... Personally I would want a deep blue... Although, I would take what ever I could find.

Those look like 2 different versions... the PDW and the Pistol, perhaps?

Looks like it takes Glock magazines, by the angle of them...

The gun was featured on Future Weapons last night, I guess it was a repeat.

The thing was very accurate even if odd to look at. The whole deal with it is the lack of recoil. The action works in such a manner that the recoil is diffused within the action.

Big improvement over a Thompson.

Can it be set on 'stun'?

...nevermind, I just noticed that a 9mm version is forthcoming. :D

Zing!

It's ugly as sin but I am much more into function than form. And the one that looks different is the first prototype. :D

And why would they want to ruin it by making a 9mm option... :stir:

Because there are lots of people who want to set their .45ACP's on stun?

I would have thought it was a Glock-inspired machine by looking at it... but the word 'perfection' wasn't used enough in the promotional literature I've found, to give it away.

I watched the Future weapons show that had this on. The mechanics of the gun are very interesting. The way they designed the action to redirect recoil and fight the muzzle climb is pretty cool. But if I had my choice I would take the AA12 for a room cleaner.

It just uses GLOCK mags. Which, at least in the 9mm version, makes sense. Lots of them available already, relatively cheap, in lots of different capacities from Brady Capacity 10 round to Glock Factory 33 round magazines for the G18.

hahahahah they wanted a reliable weapon...and the only thing they could get from a glock that would work right was the magazine!

I want to know two things. When can I get a semi-auto version? And how much do I need to save up?

This brings the Thompson Submachine gun into the 21st century!

I've gotten an email from them with my chance to put a deposit down for one of the pre-production versions (handmade vs production gun)... Supposed to ship in May, if memory serves.

Yeah, it's downright fugly. The concept is very cool, and it might turn out to be a great shooter... The 2nd email they sent said that the production guns are going to be about $500 less than the first ones. Ideally, they'll allow ordering the gun as an SBR, even in semi-auto. I could get a lot more excited about it with the short barrel.
