Looks good! Thought about getting me one. How thick is it, mosin approved?

Mosin Nagant approved and tested I think the X39 rounds barely scratch it. Basically 18x24, one inch thick. Got it at the scrap yard. It is heavy, gotta have a plan for moving it around unless you have a permanent home for it.

I have no idea what kind of round would penetrate it.

Well, at least your mosin is minute of plate accurate. :bowrofl:

I will take it. Nobody blew out the rebar support for it this time. I think we are getting better.

Evidence of a pleasurable experience. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for helping crater it

could some1 point me to info regarding steel shooting, like calibers, materials, distances, ricochets, deflection, safety, and bullet destruction. iwant it all! and im really paranoid about shooting at steel. but it does seem a lot more fun than paper.

I would let someone plug it once with a .50 to see if it would penetrate or not.

That would be alright. Then you would have a nice hole to hang it from. .50BMG rounds are designed to penetrate up to 1" of rolled armor. Even they wont touch 400 or 500 Hardox steels at an inch thick.

The mighty plate!

Complete pain in the ass to setup but mighty fun to shoot. Very satisfying to ring the bell and watch bullets disintegrate.

I predict AP M2 would penetrate no less that .42 inches. ;) Not a complete hole but if 70B hits that thang twice we might be in bidniss. B)
