Herb Parsons

I caught a show on the history channel a couple of months ago about exhibition shooters. It profiled several people both alive and deceased but something jogged my memory. When I was a kid my Dad and his best friend, Joe Roberts took me too see a shooting exhibition, I was small enough that I sat on my Dad's shoulders. Does anyone remember if Herb Parsons did any shows in this area about 69 or 70. This guy's trademark was to draw a picture of an Indian Chief with his .22 rifle. Joe was the shooting instructor for the FBI in Knoxville at that time, and seemed to know the guy pretty well

I saw him several time as a kid with my dad. Showed up at the turkey shoots they used to have at the Penal Farm. If I remember correct he also did some West Tn Sportsman Assoc. get togethers.
