Anyone know about this brand?

I'm no expert, but I think the OTM round is a gun nut/military moniker for a match grade boat tailed hollow point bullet from sierra. And I think the TSX bullet is a barnes solid copper bullet, designed for big game. I could be wrong. Its getting tough to wade through the BS.

Given the bullet choices on that web page, the best bet for deer hunting around here or self defense is the 110gr sierra pro hunter loading, imo:

And I'd be more inclined to stick with a known brand like remington, until I had tested this off brand stuff. Just because somebody said its great on a web page...I'd actually be more inclined to discount its performance in the real world. YMMV. I don't own a 6.8.

SSA is hardly "off-brand" It's the top of the line when it comes to 6.8 ammo. Remington's stuff is low end junk that is overpriced..... at least in 6.8.

That's what I was thinking. SSA is even coming out with a 6.8 plinking round! Hopefully they will sell it in bulk! =D

CTD is already advertising in their magazines $14.95 for the 90g plinking round! Of course SSA says they are still waiting on components to build the new stuff. They have to fill their military contracts first and that is taking a lot of material.

Cheaper Than Dirt. They don't actually have it, as no one does. It was supposed to be out a few months ago but the release date keeps getting pushed back.

Yeah, I've been checking there. It's still gonna be a while yet before my DMR is finished, about the same time they estimate on backorders for the ammo.
