I know some of you are probably accomplished "ropers." I am not.

All my past rappeling (military and SWAT) has been buildings. Recently, we decided to do some natural stuff. Much more difficult...uneven, and SLICK with rain and mossy ****.

I thought I was pretty good...I'm not. :rolleyes:

It was fun though...

You haven't jumped till you've done it Aussie style! Course from that picture I wouldn't recommend Aussie style. Rappelling is a lot of fun. Wish I had a job where that was a normal part of it.

I used to be really good at that about 100lbs and 12 or 13 years ago. I always enjoyed free jumps from stuff like bridges or big over hangs. I tried Aussie style a few times and it is a bit freaky to say the least.

Dustin is alot better at it than me.

SOB grew up in Colorado (and he's younger)...he should be.
