Hey Fat A$$

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to share a site with my fellow big boneded TGOers out there.

I've been in the market for a quality rainsuit. Hell, who am I kidding? I've been searching for ANY rain suit that would fit my fat self just in case I get stuck in the rain while riding my motorcycle.

I found what I was looking for at BIG CAMO. I placed my order yesterday afternoon, about 2:30pm. I received my order via UPS at about 5:30pm this afternoon. Just over 24 hours is hard to beat.

I found a place or two, locally, that had rainsuits that were supposed to fit me, but they wouldn't have fit if I were naked and covered in crisco. Trying over my clothes was a complete joke. They were sized about 4 sizes too small.

Before placing my order, I called the customer service folks at BIG CAMO and gave them my sizes. He told me what size to order, and he was right one. They fit as well as I could have expected. They pants and jacket are plenty big to ensure comfort even while riding the bike.

The stuff is top quality, and I suspect it will last a long time.

I know I'm likely the fattest TGOer, but thought others may be big enough to get some use out of it as well.

And anyone who may be curious, this is what I ordered. http://www.bigcamo.com/Stearns-Big-Tall-DriFlex-Rainsuit.php

Perhaps you could try;

Hi there. Are you a large person? Pleasantly plump? A little on the hefty side, perhaps? Well, let's face it: Are you FAT? When you go jogging, do you leave pot-holes? When you make love, do you have to give directions? At the zoo, do the elephants throw YOU peanuts? Do you look at a menu and say 'OK'? Well, now, you can eat all you want, because at Thornton Melon's "Tall & Fat" stores, we've got you covered. That's right. Fine woolen, and woolen-blend suits and sport coats, in all the larger sizes - husky, stout, extra-stout, and the new Hindenburg line. And for you ladies we have caftans, muumuus, and our own exclusive A-frame in all colors and patterns. Yes, we have miles and miles of fabric. So take it from me, Thornton Melon, if you want to look thin, you hang out with fat people. :)

I have seen a lot of TGO'ers and that is saying something right there.

Amen, I'm a man of substantial girth myself, probably why I'm not a fan of IWB carry

Reminds me of a girl I met when I was young and dumb. Says she, "how 'bout you, me, and a gallon of mazzola oil". There's a million stories out there.....:dirty:

Just how big are you guys? I am 6'2" and 275lbs, I had no problem finding Frog Togs to fit me locally. Heck they even fit over my leathers. I think I got them at Dick's Sporting Goods or some such place. They had 2x, 3x, and I think 4x when I was there.

It's usually hit or miss for me at regular retailers. I'm 6'-7" and a svelte 325#. I have lost 25# so some of my old stuff fits again! Usually I need a 3XLT to cover me backside properly.
