All are welcome. Maybe Branket will have mags and ammo for his newly constructed AR. He brought it out yesterday and all we could do was look at it. Looks cool BTW but since I didn't have my AR and 223 ammo we just drooled a lot.

BTW, what's the date?

I just quit my job so I'm in .

My last paycheck will go to mags and ammo for the AR :D.

Great. Now you got more time to shoot. :D

I should be set. Now to pick what I want to take, or if I'll just fondle other people's guns most of the time.

Where in Oak Ridge will the meet be held?

At our school's private range, The Sterling Range" on Sugar Grove Valley Rd. just west of town behind the old K-25 Gaseous Diffusion plant site. Gas grill and campfire area are available for hot dogs, hamburgers, marshmellows etc. so feel free to bring 'em. See Post #65 at http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1653&page=7 for directions. There will be a sign on the road across from the drive that reads "The Sterling Range" with a red arrow pointing LEFT. If you are still concerned about getting lost, PM me and I'll send you my cell phone #.

Hey guys....would anyone be interested in joining up with the M. TN guys for the Oct. shoot? I know that's a long drive for a few of us (2 hrs. from Knoxville), but it sounds like it would be a blast. Besides, most of the people that don't like the drive to Oak Ridge, won't be coming anyways, except for a few. Read about it and see what you think. Just an idea that I thought was worth pondering.

Ah, young Grasshopper, you are adventurous in your youth. While joining the folks in Middle TN would no doubt be a grand adventure, for many it would be difficult. As we are hosting the shoot at our place in October, I'll be down there for those that can't take the drive to Nashville and want to come out to shoot. I'll get over for the next one.

Have they ever figured out a date?

Not that I'm aware of....

no date, too much up in the air I think.

They never seem to pull these shoots off.

I will be in OR with Phantom

The E.TN.Tribal Band of the TGO Rules! ;)

With this having a base around Hero Gear, I think this one will happen. And there seems to be a lot of interest about the whole deal. Oh well, I'll see how it turns out I guess.

If I was them, I'd pick whatever weekend that neither Vandy nor UT have a home game. But I'd pick a date. But since I'm not driving that far to shoot with them, I guess they don't give a **** what I think. ;)

FOrgive my ignorance here, but where in Oak Ridge will this be and what time does it start. One other question; just curious as to what happens at one of these get-togethers, besides burnt powder. LOL
